I stayed there while visiting a friend in town
The hallways, especially by the elevators are very noisy. I could hear every word that was said outside my room (across from the elevators. The walls in the hallways need to have sound absorbing wallpaper, fabric and/or ceiling tile installed to muffle the sound. Also there were several groups or teams of young teenagers in the hotel and they roamed the halls and partied in the rooms until 4am
I stay here often because it is right in the heart of downtown Edmonton, close to everything, and the restaurants and lounge on the ground level are excellent.
The hotel needs to step up it's game with Front Desk staff. They need to be far more courteous and there needs to be more of them. I have very little to complain about with the Chateau, but this one is one that just doesn't seem to be getting better.
Fee for parking too expensive
Great location Comfy bed Staff pleasant
Restaurant over priced and added a tip without asking. When asked they said we can remove it but felt bad at this point so paid it anyway. Bit cheeky!
The facility was upkept with beautiful riverviews. Live band downstairs was nice. Walking distance from major attractions. Concierge lounge was pleasent
Showers were dirty, when asked for it to be cleaned I was told nothing we can do its probably a stain. Unexpected 18$/night parking fee never signed on or told about was upsetting. Had to ask for robes and towels. Fridge was not stocked.
Close to stores.
Quiet and relaxing. The room was beautiful and we felt calm
$25 parking....old TV..Damaged dresser....no microwave
Worst stuff members very rude and unwelcoming I do not want to profile but one of your stuff (Asian) flipino possibly she was very rude for no reason people who work in lobby should be welcoming not greet people with anger
Stuff member very rude I don't expect this kind of experience from big name hotel !!!!!
The bed was too hard, but that's just a personal preference.
Location is good. Excellent view of downtown Edmonton
More pillows on bed Needs better directions to and from hotel on internet
Spacious lobby, attractive restaurant on the ground floor, terrific restaurant (La Ronde) on top. Courteous and responsive reception desk.
Didn't know from our booking there would be a daily parking fee.
The picturesque view, also the cleanness and the updated rooms and bathroom.Beds really comfortable. The staff were always pleasant and helpful
Check in time
Felt like an old fashioned hotel. Appreciated the water and coffee in the lobby and the newspapers
Bathroom fixtures (specifically the bath tub) needs renovation
Love the comfortable beds
Lost my booking, but I was still able to get a room.
